This miniature seedpot by Ray Tafoya is fully polished and flat in shape.  It has a Mimbres-style fish on the top.  Note the small medallion with the little dragonfly!  It is charming!  There are additional wave and water designs around the fish.   Note how many of the designs surrounding the buffalo are similar to ones used today by his daughter, Jennifer Tafoya.  The seedpot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed on the bottom with his hallmark that means “White Mountain” in Tewa.
