This miniature seedpot by Ray Tafoya is fully polished and round in shape. It has two large hummingbirds along with numerous flowers. Note how the hole for the seedpot is in the center of the larger flower! The designs are etched into the clay and highlighted with additional colors of clay slips. All the different colors are derived from natural clay slips. The seedpot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair. It is signed on the bottom with his hallmark which means “White Mountain” in Tewa.
