This miniature seedpot by Ray Tafoya is fully polished and elongated in shape. It is fully polished red and then the designs are etched into the clay. There are butterflies and flowers. One side has an antelope and the opposite side has an Antelope Dancer. Separating them are stylized antelope tracks. The designs are etched into the clay and highlighted with additional colors of clay slips. All the different colors are derived from natural clay slips. The seedpot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair. It is signed on the bottom with his hallmark which means “White Mountain” in Tewa.
