Kathy Gutierrez is a daughter of noted potter Helen Gutierrez and a sister of Geraldine Gutierrez, Carol, and Rose Gutierrez. This bowl has a round shape and it is fully polished. There is a series of rain, snow, and wind patterns painted around the shoulder. It was traditionally fired to a silvery, glassy black coloration. The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Kathy N. Gutierrez”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
