This is a small water jar by Franklin Tenorio. The jar is painted with wild spinach (black) with a red clay slip. Franklin learned to make pottery from his cousin, Thomas Tenorio. This jar has two Pueblo birds around the neck. They are separated by a plant design. It was traditionally fired. The bowl is signed, “FT”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
