Nona Naha was Tewa-Hopi of the Corn Clan who began making pottery in 1988. She was the daughter of Sylvan and Edith Nash and the wife of Terry Naha. She learned to make pottery from Helen Naha and her daughters Sylvia and Rainy Naha. This bowl is thin-walled and fully polished. The top is flat and painted with four “bat wing” designs. Note the thin lines used to paint the imagery. The bowl was traditionally fired. It is signed on the bottom, “Nona Naha”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
