Blue Corn was one of the great innovative San Ildefonso potters of the late 1900s. This bowl is coil-built and has a fully polished surface. It is painted with yellow and black clays to create the various cloud designs. The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Blue Corn”. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.

The designs are bird wings flying over the mesas. It is a detailed design. The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Blue Corn”. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
