Stella Teller (b. 1929) is one of the great names in contemporary Isleta Pueblo pottery. This is one of her classic storytellers.  The figure has eight children and the are painted with matte clays. The shawl on the mother is polished white.  She is wearing a turquoise necklace.  It is signed on the bottom, “Stella Teller”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
