$ 1,800.00

This is a massive large jar by Paul Naranjo.  The jar is coil-built and fully polished.  It was fired a striking brown coloration and then etched with designs.  There are two Pueblo Dancers in front of a rock with an avanyu petroglyph.  As the jar is turned there is a Pueblo woman, a deer, a dragonfly, and a bear track. The jar then has a large eagle head looking forward.  Finally, there is a Pueblo man and an eagle. The jar has a cloud pattern around the neck.  It is one of the largest pieces we have seen by Paul.  Because of the coloration and detail, his work was seen in a lot of books in the 1980s, including Jerry Jacka’s “Beyond Traditions”.  This jar is signed, “Paul Naranjo”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is exceptional in shape, design, and coloration!
