Loretta Navasie is a daughter of Joy “Frog Woman” Navasie and a granddaughter of Paqua Naha.  This is coil-built and stone-polished with white kaolin clay.  It is painted with bee-weed and red clay slip.  There are detailed designs with bird wing, bird tail, and rain patterns.  The piece was traditionally fired.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.  It is signed on the bottom with a frog hallmark and the letters, “LJN”.
