This clay bear is by Ergil Vallo, also known as, “Dalawepi”. The bear is fully polished and etched on both sides. One side has two Hemis Mana katsinas and a bear. The opposite side has two Pueblo Dancers and a bear. The background area is a “rainbow” of colors for which he was known. The bear is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Dalawepi”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
