Madeline Naranjo creates beautifully carved and polished pottery.  Each piece is pinch-built, carved, stone polished, and traditionally fired.  This bowl is carved with four parrots. Each parrot has a polished beak and tail feathers.  They are surrounded by clouds and geometric designs.  The bowl has a lid with a sculpted parrot that is polished.  The lid fits perfectly on the bowl.  Her matte areas are sanded and perfectly smooth so there are no indentations or areas where the matte might make a shadow.  Her designs are always innovative and beautifully executed.  The jar is signed on the bottom, “Madeline Naranjo”.
