Garrett Maho is known for his traditional and innovative Hopi-Tewa pottery. This seedpot has a series of hands as the design. They are surrounded by a stippled area made using bee-weed. The seedpot was traditionally fired so that there are blushes on the surface. The piece is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Garrett Maho”. Garrett won “Best of Pottery” at the 2018 Heard Indian Market and “Best of Pottery” at Santa Fe Indian Market in 2024.

Garrett Maho is known for his traditional and innovative Hopi-Tewa pottery. This jar has a round shoulder and short neck. The jar has a classic “beetle” design that was often as seen in the pottery of Nampeyo of Hano. The beetle is anthropomorphic as she has traditional hair whirls. There are four figures on the jar. The jar has been traditionally fired so that there are blushes on the surface. The piece is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Garrett Maho”. Garrett won “Best of Pottery” at the 2018 Heard Indian Market and “Best of Pottery” at Santa Fe Indian Market in 2024.
