This is one of the only pieces we have had by Doran Youvella-Nampeyo (1982-2008). Sadly, he passed away when he was only 25. This mini jar has the corn in relief on the surface of the jar. The corn is symbolic of being part of the Corn Clan. The surface is stone polished and the corn on the top is in relief. The corn kernels are incised and the ear of corn is matte. The husk is sharp edges and matte. The remainder is fully polished. It is signed on the bottom, ‘Doran N.”. It is excellent with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
