This seedpot by Gloria Garcia is fully polished and fired black. The piece is etched with two bears inside a larger bear paw. There is a sun design that is highlighted with white clay. The small bear paw tracks are highlighted with red clay slip. Gloria’s combination of polishing and etched designs is always striking. This piece is signed on the bottom with her Tewa name “GoldenRod”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
