3"w x 2.75"h

$ 1,800.00

This is a new asymmetric bowl by Russell Sanchez.  He continues to be one of the true innovators in Pueblo pottery.  Each piece is coil-built, stone-polished, and traditionally fired.  The shape of the bowl is asymmetric on the shoulder. The entire piece is fully polished and fired a glassy black. There is an area that was two-toned green after the firing.  There is an inset piece of turquoise along with 34 small pieces of coral along the rim. It is a classic of his style with his current creative innovative additions of the tiny stone.  It’s exciting to see the continual evolution and experimentation in his pottery.  The jar is signed, “Russell 24”.
