Panana, Ruby – Large Jar with Birds and Rainbows

Ruby Panana began making pottery in 1983. She is a granddaughter of Joe and Ascenicona Galvan Pino and a daughter of Seferina Bell. Her sisters Eleanor Griego and Reyes Pino are also potters. This jar has a round shoulder and a short neck. There is a swirling rainbow that encircles the jar. Below the rainbow are Zia birds. Above are classic Zia clouds. The jar has red and tan polished areas. It is signed on the bottom, “Ruby Panana”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
