This is a small seedpot by Gloria Garcia. It is fully polished and fired black. The design is a butterfly etched into the surface of the clay. The wings are more lightly etched to create a contrast with the polished surface. There are three flowers and each has an inset piece of turquoise as part of the flower. This piece is signed on the bottom with her Tewa name “GoldenRod”.
