This is a striking carved melon ribbed bowl by Linda Tafoya. It is round in shape and there 24 carved ribs that swirl from the rim to the base. The ribs alternate between polished and micaceous. The result is visually striking. The bowl was fired a glassy black coloration. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair. It is signed on the bottom, “Linda Tafoya”.
