Blue Corn was one of the great innovative San Ildefonso potters of the late 1900s. This is a classic small bowl that is fully polished whitish-gray. It is painted with five rows of design. There is a red checkerboard pattern, rain designs and triangular butterfly wings. It is a striking and complex piece. It is signed on the bottom, “Blue Corn”. It is dated 1985, and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.

Blue Corn was one of the great innovative San Ildefonso potters of the late 1900s. This is a classic small bowl that is fully polished whitish-gray. It is painted with a water bug and five tadpoles. They are outlined in black and slipped highlighted with a green colored clay. It was traditionally fired to a rich red coloration. It is signed on the bottom, “Blue Corn”. It is from the 1970s, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
