$ 125.00

Vangie Tafoya is a granddaughter of Maria Sanchez Colaque and the mother of Helen Henderson and Brenda Tafoya.  She is known for her polished and incised pottery.  This seedpot is round in shape.  It is fully polished.  The piece is etched with a Longhair Katsina, a Pueblo at night, and a piece of pottery.  It is complicated for its size.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “V. Tafoya”.  The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
