Eric Marcus is the son of noted potter Angie Yazzie. He learned to make pottery from Angie. Each piece is made from native micaceous clay and coil-built. This is a jar with a lid. The jar is made form micaceous clay. The lid has a distinctive slant to the handle. It has a list that fits into the bowl. The use of micaceous clay gives the piece a sparkle. Much like Angie, he uses wood for outdoor fires. It is signed “Eric Marcus.”
