WOW! This is a spectacular, large jar by Dusty Naranjo. The piece is coil-built and fully polished and fired a brown coloration. The jar has a matte neck and the remainder is fully polished. The jar is fired the distinctive brown coloration and then etched with designs. This jar has six horses etched into the clay. Each of them is different with varied designs etched onto their bodies. The horse are all connected overlapping one from the next. They are surrounded by dragonflies and geometric designs. There are additional dragonflies, hands, “xos and other designs on the neck of the jar. Not only is the shape creative but the design is complex and fills the entire surface of the piece! It is signed, “Dusty Naranjo” on the bottom.
