Aguilar, Susana -Bowl with Rain and Cloud Patterns (1920’s)

This is a very distinctive bowl by Susana Aguilar.  The piece is from the 1920s and it is fully polished and fired to a near gunmetal appearance.  The bowl is one of her more classic shapes with the low shoulder and sloping sides.  The design is intricately painted with rain, cloud, and feather designs. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Susana”. The bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
