Fidel “Onquan Peen” Archuleta (1922-74) was knwon for his painted pottery. This bowl is coil-built, fully polished and painted with an avanyu as the design. It was fired black-on-black. The bowl is signed, “Fidel Archuleta Onquan Peen”. It is in very good condition with some light surface scratches.
