Mary is the second youngest daughter of Margaret Tafoya.  She has never made a lot of pottery and most was in the 1970s and 1980s. This is a charming deeply carved red bowl.  It has a rain and kiva step design.  It is fully polished and fired deep red in coloration.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Mary E.  Archuleta.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
