Annie Baca is a daughter of Cesencia Tafoya and known for her miniature pottery.  This wedding vase is a classic form with a round body and double spouts.  The piece is very highly polished and tightly painted.  Her works are typically three inches or smaller, so this is actually a larger piece of her pottery!  The wedding vase has a painted kiva step and cloud pattern on both sides.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Annie”.  The glassy shine and tight painting create a beautiful and traditional Santa Clara wedding vase!
