Joe Baca is known for his creative sgraffito pottery. This seedpot is coil-built and stone polished. It was fired a brown coloration. There are two bear paws incised into the clay. One is polished and the other is matte, in reverse. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Joe Baca”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
