This is a classic round bowl by Blue Corn.  She is s certainly one of the most creative potters of her time with a varied use of clays and firing techniques to create her distinctive pottery. The bowl is painted around the shoulder with a rain and feather design.  The piece is highly polished and fired to a near-gunmetal coloration.  It is signed in the clay, “Blue Corn”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
