Blue Corn was one of the great innovative San Ildefonso potters of the late 1900s.  This is a classic small jar that is fully polished.  It is painted with 26 feathers encircling the neck of the jar.  It was traditionally fired to a silvery-black coloration.  It is signed on the bottom, “Blue Corn”.  It is from the 1970s, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
