Blue Corn was one of the great innovative San Ildefonso potters of the late 1900s.  This bowl is coil-built and the surface is matte white and painted with black clay.  There are two tadpoles painted on the outside. The bowl is signed on the bottom, “Blue Corn”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
