Autumn Borts-Medlock is known for her often fancifully carved pottery. This tall jar is fully polished and carved around the shoulder.  There are a series of interlocking flowers as the design. The flowers are slipped with a mauve colored clay. The center of each flower and the connecting vines are polished tan.  The leaves are polished red.  The remainder of the jar is red and polished to a high shine.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Autumn Borts”.
