Denise Chavarria (b. 1959) is a daughter of noted potter Stella Chavarria and a granddaughter of Teresita Naranjo. Each piece is coil-built, carved, stone polished, and traditionally fired. This bowl is very deeply carved with rain and lightning designs. It is fully polished and the bowl was traditionally fired black. It is signed on the bottom, “Denise Chavarria”.

Denise Chavarria (b. 1959) is a daughter of noted potter Stella Chavarria. The bowl by Denise is carved with rain designs. The two jars by Stella Chavarria are carved with swirling cloud and mountain patterns. All are in excellent condition.
