3.25"w x 3"h

$ 125.00

This is a small incised bowl by Nancy Ann Chilly. Nancy is one of the few Navajo pottery working today in a traditional style.  Her pieces are coil-built, incised, and traditionally fired.  Nancy is from the Four Corners Area on the Navajo Reservation.  This bowl has four Yei figures, both male and female. They encircle the entire piece and they are separated by cloud designs on the rim. The bowl was traditionally fired, then painted, then covered in pinon pitch in the traditional manner. It is signed, “NAY” on the bottom.
