Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This seedpot is coil built. The piece has a complex fine-line design in the center on the top.  The piece is painted with an intricate “basket weave” design that is made up of small triangles accented with clay color or mottled.  The piece is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
