Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This seedpot is coil built. The piece is fully painted on the top and bottom.  It is meant to resemble a blossoming flower.  The center uses thin lines and additional clay slip.  The piece is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
