Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This seedpot is coil built. The piece has a complex design that is painted on the surface.  It is meant to look like the blossoming of a flower.  It is a striking design.  The piece is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
