Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) is a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This large seedpot is coil-built. It is a series of triangular designs painted to look like a blooming flower when looked at from the top!  The piece is fully painted on the top and bottom.  The piece has a complex fine-line design in the center on the top. The design is complex and visually striking.  It is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
