Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This seedpot is coil built. The piece is fully painted on the top and bottom.  It has a fineline pattern in the center.  There are interlocking flower petal designs that extend outward and across the bottom of the piece.  It creates an op-art-inspired and dynamic appearance!   The piece is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
