Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite. She learned to make pottery from her mother. She is known for her traditional style designs. This seedpot is coil built. The piece is large in size and fully designed. There is a fineline flower pattern on the top. Around the sides and the bottom is a checkerboard corn design. The red dots in the center are representative of the corn kernels. The piece is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
