Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This seedpot is coil built. The piece is large in size and fully designed.  There is a fineline flower pattern on the top.  Spiraling out from the center are checkerboard corn patterns.  Some have a red dot in the center, others black.  It is fully designed to the base of the seedpot.  The piece is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
