Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) s a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This seedpot is coil built. The piece is fully painted on the top and bottom.  It has a fine-line pattern in the center.  It spirals out over the side, creating a basket design.  It creates an op-art-inspired and dynamic appearance!   The piece is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
