Alicia Kelsey Chino (b. 1979) is a daughter of noted potter Darla Davis and a granddaughter of Rachel JWhite.  She learned to make pottery from her mother.  She is known for her traditional style designs.  This seedpot is coi- built. The piece has a complex fine-line design in the center on the top.. Extending outward and across the bottom interlocking squares, meant to look like the bricks in the walls of Chaco Canyon structures.  The design is complex and visually striking.  It is signed on the bottom, “A. Chino”.
