This is an iconic fine-line jar by Rose Chino Garcia. She was a daughter of noted potter Marie Z. Chino. This piece is coil-built and has a low shoulder and sloping side. The bowl has triangular interlocking clouds that are painted with thin lines. It is a creative use of classic fine-line imagery! This jar is very thin-walled and it was traditionally fired. It is signed on the bottom, “Rose Chino”. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
