Carolyn Concho is well known for her beautifully painted pottery using Mimbres animals, reptiles, and insects.  This is a larger seedpot for Carolyn.  It has a lizard in relief on the top with a raised head.  The tail of the lizard extends out from the hole on the tail of the lizard.  The lizard is surrounded by lady bugs and geometric designs.  All the different colors are from natural clay slips.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “C. Concho”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration, or repair.
