Carolyn Concho is well known for her beautifully painted pottery using Mimbres animals, reptiles, and insects.  This seedpot has a Mimbres lizard on the top.  It is surrounded by spiraling sand designs painted in red and orange.  All the different colors are from natural clay slips.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “C. Concho”.
