Carolyn Concho is well known for her beautifully painted pottery using Mimbres animals, reptiles, and insects. This seedpot has a Mimbres lizard on the top with a raised head. It is surrounded by pottery shard designs. All the different colors are from natural clay slips. It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Carolyn Concho”.
