Darla Davis (b. 1960) is the mother of potters Alicia Chino and Titus Davis.  She is a granddaughter of Alice White and a daughter of Rachel White.  This canteen is coil built and painted before firing. The piece has a classic Acoma eagle on one side and a corn and field design on the other side.  It is signed on the bottom, “D. Davis”.
