Cynthia Star Flower Dunlap (1959-2018) was a daughter of Carmelita Dunlap and a granddaughter of Juanita Montoya Vigil, the youngest sister of Maria Martinez.  She was a sister to Linda Dunlap, Jennie Dunlap, Carlos Dunlap, and Martha Appleaf Fender.   This jar has a low shoulder and sloping sides.  It is fully painted with plant and rain designs. The piece is fully decorated from the rim to the base! It was traditionally fired black.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Cynthia Star Flower”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
