Cynthia Mountain Flower Dunlap is a daughter of Carmelita Dunlap and a grandaughter of Juanita Montoya Vigil, the youngest sister of Maria Martinez.  She is a sister to Linda Dunlap, Cynthia Dunlap, Carlos Dunlap, and Martha Appleaf Fender.   This jar is coil-built, painted, and fired brown.  The jar is carved with a kiva step or cloud design on the rim. There are clouds around the rim of the jar with plant designs below the shoulder.  It is a complex and creatively painted jar.  It is signed on the bottom in the clay, “Jennie Mountain Flower Dunlap”.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
